DAY 01 OAXACA

Arrival at the airport or bus terminal in Oaxaca. Assistance and transfer to the hotel. Free time. Tlayudas, moles, chocolate and fine mezcal can be tasted in the market. Accommodation.

DAY 02 OAXACA

Day off. Accommodation.

DAY 03 MONTE ALBÁN

Today we will visit the most important archaeological zones of the region: Monte Albán, founded by the Olmecas and habited by Zapotecas and Mixtecos, is located on a hill which, by the man action,  was tasted on its summit, turning it into a plateau, from where the whole valley is dominated. Important monuments can be admired: the observatory, with special astronomical orientation; the main square, surrounded by magnificent buildings; the steles and the dancers decorated are human figures that are believed, they can represent people dancing or deformed people, which has led to it is speculated that this city was an important center of medical studies of the time. We return to Oaxaca. Free time.  Accommodation.

DAY 04 TULE TREE – MITLA

Departure in the morning to visit the archaeological zone and Mitla. On the route, we will know the tree de tule, considered the most voluminous living being in the world. On its trunk and branches, local children show us various figures that in the popular imaginary, they represent things and famous people, seen with a funny sense. Arrival to Mitla and visit of the main buildings, decorated with freckles representing sacred symbols for the ancient Mixtecos. We can also admire the hall of the columns in which according to popular legends, you can know how long it will live who embraces them depending on how far you reach your arms at certain spine marks. Back to the Oaxaca city. Free afternoon. Accommodation.

DAY 05 OAXACA

Free time to visit the craft market or for personal activities. At the appropriate time, transfer to Oaxaca airport.
